DALLAS --This game can change in the blink of an eye, and the Stars on Wednesday proved how quickly that can happen.
In a span of 5:34 in the late stages of the second period, the Stars scored three unanswered goals to turn a 3-1 deficit into a 4-3 lead, a score that held until the final buzzer sounded, giving them an enormous victory over the LA Kings at American Airlines Center.

Playing in his 500th career NHL game, Alexander Radulov was a force to be reckoned with all game. It was his goal with 12.2 seconds remaining in the middle frame that put the Stars up for good. A crowd of 18,046 reached a deafening roar as the Stars turned the game upside down and stunned a Kings team that built a 3-1 lead before everything changed.

It was the type of response that opens eyes and shows how dangerous this team can be. The Stars showed desperation, and they didn't let the Kings neutralize them defensively. Dallas finished the game with 42 shots on goal - just the second time all season the Kings have allowed 40+ shots in a game.
The Stars have won three in a row at home, five of six (5-1-0) and 11 of 15 (11-4-0). They improved their overall record this season to 30-20-3 (63 points).
It was a comeback victory for the Stars, who had to erase a 1-0 deficit on a goal from Kings forward Phillip Danault at the 3:58 mark of the first period.
Luke Glendening's eighth goal of the season just 43 seconds into the middle frame evened the score at a goal apiece on a beautiful shot that sailed over the shoulder of Kings goalie Cal Peterson.
