Stars prospects Riley Tufte and Joseph Cecconiare headed to the NCAA Frozen Four in St. Paul, Minnesota.
Tufte, a first-round pick in 2016, recorded one assist as Minnesota Duluth defeated Air Force, 2-1, in the West Regional final on Saturday. Tufte put a shot on net from the left circle and Joey Anderson scored on the rebound to stake the Bulldogs to a 1-0 lead midway through the first period.

Tufte, a sophomore, has 29 points (16 goals, 13 assists) in 40 games and leads the Bulldogs in goal scoring.
Minnesota Duluth will play Ohio State in the national semifinals on Apr. 5.
Cecconi, a fifth-round pick in 2015, tallied one assist as Michigan defeated Boston University, 6-3, in the Northeast Regional final on Sunday. Cecconi assisted on a power-play goal that gave Michigan a 2-1 lead late in the first period.
Cecconi, a junior, has 26 points (five goals, 21 assists) in 39 games and ranks second among Wolverine defensemen in scoring.
Michigan will play Notre Dame in the national semifinals on April 5.
Stars goaltending prospect Jake Oettinger stopped 16 of 21 shots in Boston University's loss to Michigan in the Northeast regional final. Oettinger, a first-round pick in 2017, finished the season 21-13-4 with a 2.45 goals against average and .915 save percentage.
