FRISCO, Texas --Dallas Stars General Manager Jim Nillannounced today that the club has recalled defenseman Joel Hanley from the Texas Stars, Dallas' top development affiliate in the American Hockey League (AHL).
Additionally, the club has placed defenseman John Klingberg on Injured Reserve (upper body) and placed right wing Alexander Radulov on Injured Reserve (lower body) retroactive to Oct. 30.

Hanley, 27, currently shares first among Texas defensemen with four assists and ranks second with five points (1-4=5) in 11 games so far this season. The defenseman also shares first among all Texas skaters with a +3 plus/minus rating in 2018-19.
The 5-foot-10, 190-pound native of Keswick, Ontario was originally undrafted and signed with Dallas as a free agent on July 1, 2018. Hanley has appeared in 22 career NHL regular-season contests with Montreal and Arizona, recording six assists (0-6=6) and four penalty minutes.
