Fedun has skated in 100 career NHL games with Edmonton, San Jose, Vancouver, Buffalo and Dallas, registering 26 points (6-20=26). The blueliner made his Stanley Cup Playoffs debut this season, posting six hits, six blocked shots and 10:21 time on ice per game in seven postseason contests with the Stars. Fedun has also recorded 179 points (41-138=179) in 349 career regular-season AHL games with Oklahoma City, Worcester, Utica, Rochester and Texas.
The 6-foot-1, 201-pound native of Edmonton, Alberta was originally undrafted and was signed as a free agent by Edmonton on March 8, 2011.
