Robertson, 23, finished the 2021-22 season with 41 goals and 38 assists for a total of 79 points, setting new career-highs in each category. His 41 goals led Dallas and tied for 13th in the NHL. He recorded 13 of his goals on the power play, ranking first on the squad and sharing 15th in the League. Robertson is the fourth player in Dallas history and the 12th player in franchise history to record 40 goals in a season and the first since Tyler Seguin did so in 2017-18. He hit the mark on April 26, 2022, at 22 years, 278 days, becoming the youngest player in Stars history to accomplish the feat. Robertson tied a franchise record with 11 game-winning goals, co-leading the League and ranking first on the Stars.
Playing in his 100th NHL game on March 4, 2022, the sophomore established a new Dallas record with 97 points (43-54=97) through his first 100 games. In his 101st NHL game two nights later, Robertson recorded his 100th NHL point (46-54=100), becoming the fourth-fastest player in franchise history to hit the mark. He finished the 2021-22 campaign having played in 128 career NHL games and a total of 125 points (58-67=125).
