Dallas Stars General Manager Jim Nill announced today that the club has signed goaltender Mike McKenna to a one-year, two-way contract.
McKenna, 34, spent time with Springfield and Syracuse of the American Hockey League (AHL) during the 2016-17 regular season, posting a 14-15-10 record with a .905 save percentage and a 2.84 goals against average in 40 games played. During the Calder Cup Playoffs, he helped Syracuse reach the Calder Cup Final against Grand Rapids, posting a 13-9 record with a .911 SV% and a 2.68 GAA in 22 games.
