FRISCO, Texas -- The Dallas Stars will hold their annual Hockey Fights Cancer Night on Saturday, Nov. 19 against the New York Islanders.

Now in its 24th year, Hockey Fights Cancer - a joint initiative of the National Hockey League and the National Hockey League Players' Association - has raised more than $32 million, uniting the hockey community in support of cancer patients and their families since 1998.
As a part of the league-wide initiative, all members of the Dallas Stars coaching staff will wear Hockey Fights Cancer ribbons on the bench during the game, and Dallas Stars players will wear lavender jerseys during warmups and use lavender stick tape. All jerseys will be auctioned off at

beginning Saturday, Nov. 19 upon the conclusion of warmups. Proceeds collected from the warmup jersey auction and the Dallas Stars Foundation 50/50 Raffle will benefit Mammogram Poster Girls, raising awareness and funds for the early detection of breast cancer and mammograms for those in need.
Angelyn Page will participate in the ceremonial puck drop prior to Saturday's game. A resident of the Metroplex for more than 40 years and a retired City of Dallas employee, Page has been working as a coordinator for Aunt Bette's Community Pantry at St. Philip's School & Community Center in South Dallas. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Aunt Bette's Community Pantry was one of the few pantries that continued operations. During this time, Page was diagnosed with breast cancer. While undergoing treatment, Page continued to serve the community of South Dallas. In addition to her role at Aunt Bette's Community Pantry, Page also worked at American Airlines Center. An employee for 3 1/2 years, she had to stop working at the arena while undergoing chemotherapy and treatment, but plans on returning for the 2023-24 season.
Fans will be given the opportunity to create "I'm Fighting For" cards at the Fan Center outside Section 113, an acknowledgement that we are all connected to this disease, and we fight together. Fans are encouraged to write-in the person on the card who is significant to them and share on social media using the hashtag #StarsFightCancer.
Jerseys used in during warmup will be available for bidding online Saturday, Nov. 19 by visiting
