Forward Wyatt Johnston finished the regular season with a team-leading 32 goals. He tallied his 30th goal of the season on April 3 against the Edmonton Oilers, becoming just the second player in franchise history to record a 30-goal season prior to their 21st birthday (Other: Brian Bellows). He also finished the season tied for third on the club with 65 points (32-33--65), tying Bellows for third-most points in a single season by a player age 20 or younger in franchise history. The 20-year old appeared in 19 postseason games for the Stars in 2023, leading league rookies with four goals and ranking second with six points (4-2--6). He scored the series-clinching goals in both the First and Second Round, becoming the fourth rookie in NHL history to score multiple series-clinching goals in a single playoff year.
