• In 2019-20, defenseman John Klingberg led Dallas in scoring in their games against Pittsburgh, recording two points (one goal, one assist) in two games. Klingberg has recorded 10 points in 10 career games against Pittsburgh, averaging 24:16 on ice per game.
• Forward Roope Hintz has recorded three points (two goals, one assists) in four career games against the Penguins. He has lit the lamp on two of his six shots on goal (33.3%), which is his highest shooting percentage against any individual opponent.

Bring me the horizon

• Forward Joe Pavelski recorded his 395th career NHL goal in Ottawa on Sunday afternoon. Five away from the 400-goal milestone, Pavelski could become the 10th American-born player in NHL history to reach that mark.
• Since he joined the NHL in the 2006-07 season, Pavelski ranks sixth in goals, 14th in points (844) and 10th in games played (1,089).
• Seven active players have hit the 400-goal milestone. Pittsburgh forward Jeff Carter, the most recent addition to the list, recorded his 400th this past week on Oct. 14 against Florida.
• Since joining the Stars in 2019, Pavelski leads the Stars in goals (40) and game-winning goals (7).
• In his 15-season NHL career, the Plover, Wisconsin native has lead his team in goal scoring six times, and has been named an NHL All Star three times (2016, 2017, 2019).
• Pavelski, 37, has represented the United States at the Olympics twice, earning a silver medal in 2010. He also served as the captain of Team USA for the 2016 World Cup of Hockey.

New kids on the block
