Forward Roope Hintz potted the lone goal (1-0=1) on Tuesday night against the Vegas Golden Knights and now has points in three of his last six road contests (1-2=3). The forward registered his second career power play goal on Tuesday and the first road power play goal of his NHL career. Earlier this season, the rookie tied his career-long with points in back-to-back games (0-2=2) from Feb. 9 - 12, marking the third time this season that he's had points in consecutive contests. The native of Tampere, Finland has skated in 39 NHL contests this season and has registered 10 points (4-6=10) with 14 penalty minutes. In the first game of the 2018-19 season for Dallas, he made his NHL debut against the Coyotes on Oct. 4 and logged one shot on goal with 9:59 time on ice. He recorded his first NHL point with a goal (1-0=1) on Nov. 18 against the New York Islanders at Barclays Center. This season, the forward has also skated in 21 AHL contests for the Texas Stars and has recorded 22 points (9-13=22) with two power play goals. Hintz was originally selected by Dallas in the second round (49th overall) of the 2015 NHL Draft.
