Black butterflies and déjà vu

• The Stars and Coyotes meet for the second of four games this season and the second time in nine days.
• In the first game of the season series, the Stars defeated the Coyotes, 3-2, at Gila River Arena in Glendale, Arizona.
• Forward Joe Pavelski notched two assists and forward Jason Robertson posted a two-point outing (one goal, one assist), along with the game-winning marker in the second period. Goaltender Braden Holtby turned aside 25 of the 27 shots in the win.
• Dallas comes into Monday's game having earned wins in 12 of the past 13 games (12-1-0) against Arizona dating back to the 2015-16 season.
• Since the start of the 2013-14 season, Dallas has posted wins in 17 of 21 games against the Coyotes, boasting a 17-4-0 record over that span.
• On home ice, the Stars have won 13 straight games against the Coyotes, which is the club's longest active home win streak against one opponent and the second-longest active home win streak by an NHL team against one opponent (most: Philadelphia has won 16 consecutive games at home against Chicago).
• The club's 13-game run against Arizona is the second longest home winning streak against one opponent in club history. The franchise record for longest winning streak at home against one opponent is 16 games against the Minnesota Wild from Oct. 19, 2003-Feb. 24, 2012.
• Captain Jamie Benn has earned 12 points (three goals, nine assists) over his past 10 contests at American Airlines Center against the Coyotes, posting five multi-point games over that span.
• Forward Alexander Radulov has points in six-straight games (three goals, three assists) vs. Arizona and has points in all four career contests (two goals, two assists) against them at American Airlines Center.
• Forward Roope Hintz has points in five-straight games (three goals, two assists) vs. the Coyotes.
• Defenseman John Klingberg has inked the scoresheet in six of his past eight games against Arizona (two goals, five assists).
• Forward Radek Faksa has points in back-to-back games (one goal, one assist) against the Coyotes and has points in seven of his past nine (four goals, four assists) against them.

'Different tie, but I'm wearing the same suit'

• The Stars are riding a season-long six-game winning streak, which is tied for the longest active win streak in the NHL and have outscored opponents 21-8 over that span. This marks Dallas' longest winning streak since the 2019-20 campaign when the team logged wins in six-straight games from Dec. 28, 2019-Jan. 9, 2020.
• Since the current streak began on Nov. 20, the Stars are first in the NHL in goals allowed and goals against per-game average, having given up just eight goals for a 1.33 average.
• With a win on Monday night, the Stars would tie the longest winning streak in franchise history. The club has won seven consecutive games on five occasions, most recently from Nov. 13-Nov. 25, 2019. For more information, click

• Dallas' seven-game run is the second longest active home winning streak in the NHL and the third-longest in the league this season. The Stars have outscored the opposition 28-10 over that span.
• This marks Dallas' longest winning streak on home ice since the 2019-20 season when the team posted wins in seven-straight games from Oct. 29-Nov. 25, 2019.

Can't stop, won't stop

• Pavelski notched two assists against the Blue Jackets on Thursday and has four consecutive multi-point games (three goals, six assists). The 37-year-old has 17 points (six goals, 11 assists) over his past 14 games.
• Per NHL Stats, Pavelski is the 11th different player in NHL history to record multiple points in four consecutive games at age 37 or older and the first since Cliff Ronning in 2003-04 (4 GP from March 11-17, 2004).
• Pavelski is one of five NHL players during the 2021-22 season to record multi-point games in at least four consecutive games, joining Toronto's John Tavares, Colorado's Nazem Kadri, and Edmonton's Leon Draisaitl and Connor McDavid.
• On Tuesday night against the Carolina Hurricanes, Pavelski (37 years, 142 days) became the first NHL player over the age 37 to record 3+ points in a game since Jason Spezza (37 years, 263 days) did so with Toronto on March 3, 2021 (three assists).
• This season, Pavelski leads the Stars with 19 points (seven goals, 12 assists) in 21 contests.
• His seven goals are tied for second on the club, while his three power-play goals rank first on the Stars.

Mask Policy:In accordance with the Dallas County mask order, masks will be required upon entry to American Airlines Center. It is not required to submit a health screening in advance. Health and safety protocols could change at any point based on NHL, federal, state or local guidance.
Bag Policy:Wristlet, clutch or wallet 4.5x6.5 allowed at all entrances. Purses no larger than 14x14x6 will be allowed at designated X-ray entry points. No backpack or large totes allowed. Remote Bag Check at Silver Garage will be available for fans who need to check bags that are too large.
Re-Entry Policy: Re-entry is not allowed at any event at the American Airlines Center. For certain situations such as medical needs, re-entry can be approved by the Guest Services Supervisor at the door.
Smoking Policy: Guests can smoke at JD Patio and ULTRA Club Patio. No smoking areas will be located on Platinum level. All guests must be re-screened prior to entry back into the building.
Cashless Transactions: Be sure to bring your debit/credit card to AAC for cashless transactions. No cash will be accepted.
