Can't Hardly Wait

• The Stars meet the Wild on Thursday night for the first of four meetings this season. The teams didn't face each other in the 2020-21 campaign. In 2019-20, the Stars posted a record of 1-2-1 against the Wild.
• The Stars have recorded points in three of their past four games at Xcel Energy Center, posting a record of 2-1-1.
Tyler Seguin recorded four points (one goal, three assists) in four games against the Wild in 2019-20, sharing the team lead. The Brampton, Ontario native has recorded 39 points (15 goals, 24 assists) in 33 career games against Minnesota, the second-most against any individual opponent. Seguin, 29, leads all current members of the Stars in scoring against the Wild.
Alexander Radulov recorded the second hat trick of his career in the Stars' most recent win against the Wild on Oct. 29, 2019, while also notching the game-winning goal. His four points (three goals, one assist) were tied for the most on the club against the Wild in the 2019-20 season.
Joe Pavelski shared the team lead with four points (two goals, two assists) against the Wild in four games during the 2019-20 season. In 45 career games against the Wild, Pavelski has recorded 37 points (19 goals, 18 assists) and three game-winning goals.
• In eight career games, Miro Heiskanen has recorded six assists against Minnesota, including three in four games in 2019-20. His assist total is his second-most he's scored against any one opponent (most: seven vs. Detroit Red Wings).

'They say, Now, don't be a stranger'

Ryan Suter lit the lamp in Tuesday night's game against Detroit, his second goal of the season.
• Suter has recorded five points (two goals, three assists) in his past five games. In his first season with the Stars, he shares fourth on the club and ranks second among team defensemen with eight points (two goals, six assists) in 14 contests.
• This season, he also ranks second on the Stars with 22:05 time on ice and 21 blocked shots, while he shares third with one power-play goal.
• Prior to signing with Dallas as a free agent on July 28, Suter played nine seasons in Minnesota, appearing in 656 games and recording 369 points (55 goals, 314 assists).
• The Wild made seven playoff appearances in Suter's nine seasons, where he skated in 49 postseason games and recorded 18 points (two goals, 16 assists).
• Among Wild franchise leaders, Suter ranks second in assists (314) and plus/minus rating (+62), while ranking fourth in games played (656) and points (369). In postseason play, Suter ranks tied for third in assists (16), fourth in games played (49) and shares seventh in points (18).

Step right up, 'son

Jason Robertson found the back of the net twice (two goals, one assists) in Tuesday night's game against Detroit. Robertson added an assist, marking the second time in his career that he posted three or more points in a game (Other: March 9, 2021 vs. Chicago, four assists).
• Robertson, 22, has recorded seven points (two goals, five assists) in his past four games. He brought his season total to nine points (three goals, six assists) in eight games after losing the first six games of the season to injury.
• The Arcadia, California native extended his assist streak to four games (two goals, five assists), which tied his career-long (other: four-game assist streak from April 20-26, 2021).
• Robertson has earned points in six of his eight games (three goals, six assists, nine points) during the 2021-22 campaign, and his nine points is tied for second among Stars skaters.
