Goaltender Jake Oettinger stopped 35 of 36 shots to earn his second win of the season and his first against the Blues franchise.
• Benn is riding a four-game point streak (two goals, three assists) against the Blues and has 15 points (nine goals, six assists) over his past 13 games against them.
• Hintz notched two shorthanded goals on Nov. 20 against St. Louis and became the fourth player in franchise history (1967-present) to record two shorthanded goals in a game. He was the first player in Dallas Stars history (1993-present) to accomplish the feat and marked the first time it's ever been done on home ice.
• Defenseman Ryan Suter lit the lamp against the Blues that night and now has goals (2) in back-to-back games against them. He leads all current Stars with 32 assists and has 39 points in a team-leading 82 career games against St. Louis.
• Goaltender Braden Holtby has recorded a win in all but one of his nine appearances against the Blues, posting an 8-1-0 record, a 2.31 goals-against average and .924 save percentage. As a member of the Washington Capitals, Holtby made a career-high 46 saves on 47 shots in a 4-1 win against the Blues on Nov. 17, 2013.
