'So here I go, I'll dive right in'

• The Stars meet the Blues on Tuesday night at American Airlines Center for the first of two consecutive games against the Central Division rivals.
• On Friday, Dallas will travel to St. Louis to face the Blues at Enterprise Center on the first night of a road/home back-to-back. The Stars face the Blackhawks on Saturday night at American Airlines Center.
• Overall, the two teams meet for the second of four games during the 2021-22 campaign.
• The Stars defeated the Blues, 4-1, in the first game of the season series on Nov. 20 at AAC.
• Four players posted multi-point games including forwards Roope Hintz (two goals), Jamie Benn (one goal, one assist), Michael Raffl (two assists) and defenseman Esa Lindell (two assists). Goaltender Jake Oettinger stopped 35 of 36 shots to earn his second win of the season and his first against the Blues franchise.
• Benn is riding a four-game point streak (two goals, three assists) against the Blues and has 15 points (nine goals, six assists) over his past 13 games against them.
• Hintz notched two shorthanded goals on Nov. 20 against St. Louis and became the fourth player in franchise history (1967-present) to record two shorthanded goals in a game. He was the first player in Dallas Stars history (1993-present) to accomplish the feat and marked the first time it's ever been done on home ice.
• Defenseman Ryan Suter lit the lamp against the Blues that night and now has goals (2) in back-to-back games against them. He leads all current Stars with 32 assists and has 39 points in a team-leading 82 career games against St. Louis.
• Goaltender Braden Holtby has recorded a win in all but one of his nine appearances against the Blues, posting an 8-1-0 record, a 2.31 goals-against average and .924 save percentage. As a member of the Washington Capitals, Holtby made a career-high 46 saves on 47 shots in a 4-1 win against the Blues on Nov. 17, 2013.

'We take control, we take control'

• The club has won eight consecutive home games, tied for the second-longest home winning streak in franchise history.
• Dallas' eight-game run is the the longest active home winning streak in the NHL and tied for the second-longest in the league this season (other: New York Rangers).
• The club has won at least eight consecutive games on home ice on four occasions and for the first time since Jan. 23-March 13, 2006.
• The 1972-73 Minnesota North Stars won a club-record 11 straight games at home from Nov. 4-Dec. 27, 1972. For more information,

Story of the Year

• Hintz notched two assists on Dec. 8 against the Vegas Golden Knights.
• Hintz, who recorded his first career hat trick on Nov. 30, has also registered 17 points (11 goals, six assists) over his past 14 games dating back to Nov. 7. His 11 goals over that span rank fourth in the NHL.
• This season, the 25-year-old forward leads the Stars in goals while ranking third on the team in points (18) in 24 games.
• Hintz co-leads the Stars in game-winning goals (3) and ranks tied for 11th in the league.
• Hintz' two shorthanded goals this season are tied for first in the NHL.

Mask Policy:In accordance with the Dallas County mask order, masks will be required upon entry to American Airlines Center. It is not required to submit a health screening in advance. Health and safety protocols could change at any point based on NHL, federal, state or local guidance.
Bag Policy:Wristlet, clutch or wallet 4.5x6.5 allowed at all entrances. Purses no larger than 14x14x6 will be allowed at designated X-ray entry points. No backpack or large totes allowed. Remote Bag Check at Silver Garage will be available for fans who need to check bags that are too large.
Re-Entry Policy: Re-entry is not allowed at any event at the American Airlines Center. For certain situations such as medical needs, re-entry can be approved by the Guest Services Supervisor at the door.
Smoking Policy: Guests can smoke at JD Patio and ULTRA Club Patio. No smoking areas will be located on Platinum level. All guests must be re-screened prior to entry back into the building.
Cashless Transactions: Be sure to bring your debit/credit card to AAC for cashless transactions. No cash will be accepted.
