Back home, hungry for a hand to hold

• The Stars return to American Airlines Center to host the Vancouver Canucks in the second meeting of the season on Saturday at 6 p.m. CT.
• Dallas dropped the series opener in Vancouver on Nov. 7 by a 6-3 final. Joe Pavelski and Luke Glendening each contributed a goal, and Jason Robertson contributed two assists. Ryan Suter tallied his first goal as a member of the Stars, and Anton Khudobin made 30 saves on 35 shots. The Stars went 2-for-3 on the power play and 3-for-6 on the penalty kill.
• The Stars have earned a win in two of their last three games against Vancouver (2-1-0), scoring three goals or more in each. They've also earned points in five of their last six games against the Canucks (3-1-2). Over that span, they've gone 3-for-16 (18.8%) on the power play and 21-for-24 (87.5%) on the penalty kill.
• The Stars have earned points in nine of their last 11 home games against Vancouver (8-2-1) and haven't allowed a goal on the PK in their last two games at AAC (7-for-7).
• Captain Jamie Benn has earned seven points (four goals, three assists) in his last six games against Vancouver and has found the scoresheet in two straight games at home (three goals, one assist). He's totaled 29 points (14 goals, 15 assists) in 33 games against the Canucks, and has registered four game-winning goals which ties for his second-highest total against an opponent.
• Pavelski tallied a goal in the Stars' first game against the Canucks this season and has now earned eight points (four goals, four assists) in his last six. Over that span, he's registered three multi-point games. The 37-year-old leads current Stars in goals (15), assists (26) and points (41) in 55 career games vs. Vancouver.
Alexander Radulov has earned points (three goals, one assist) in four of his last six games against the Canucks, contributing to a total of 10 points (seven goals, three assists) in 18 games.
• Robertson earned two assists in his first career game against Vancouver this season.
Tyler Seguin has tallied five points (one goal, four assists) in his last three games against Vancouver, contributing to a total of 27 points (nine goals, 18 assists) in 23 career games. With 1.17 points per game, Seguin's scored at a higher rate against the Canucks than any other opponent.
• Suter earned his first goal and registered his first multi-point game as a member of the Stars in their first game against Vancouver this season. He's tallied seven career goals against the Canucks, tied for his highest total against any individual opponent. In 54 games, Suter's registered 27 points (seven goals, 20 assists).
• Both Jake Oettinger and Scott Wedgewood have yet to appear in a game against Vancouver in their respective careers.

• Forward Roope Hintz tallied two goals in the third period of Thursday night's 4-3 shootout victory against the Carolina Hurricanes.
• Hintz has now earned two points in each of his last three games (five goals, one assist), including the game-winning goal in last Sunday's game against the Washington Capitals.
• Hintz ranks second on Dallas with six game-winning goals on the season, earning four of those at home.
• The Tampere, Finland native ranks second on the Stars in goals (28) and third in points (55).
• He leads Dallas and ranks tied for 13th in the NHL with 17 goals scored at home and paces the Stars with 34 points at American Airlines Center.
• The 25-year old co-leads the Stars in power-play points (20) and ranks first in plus-minus (+20).

A northern soul in southern landsWill always find his way to southern hands

• With 44 saves Thursday night in Raleigh, Wedgewood set a new franchise record for the most saves by a Stars goaltender in a debut with the team.
• He passed Jon Casey (43 saves; March 28, 1984) for the franchise record and Jack Campbell (41 saves; Oct. 20, 2013) for the Dallas Stars record.
• The Stars acquired Wedgewood in a trade with the Arizona Coyotes on Sunday, March 20 in exchange for a conditional fourth-round draft pick in 2023.
• The 29-year old has appeared in 30 NHL contests during the 2021-22 campaign with Dallas, Arizona and New Jersey, posting a 11-14-3 record with a 3.15 goals-against average and .910 save percentage.
• The native of Brampton, Ontario has as career record of 21-32-11 with a 3.11 GAA, .906 SV% and four shutouts in 70 NHL contests.

Re-Entry Policy: Re-entry is not allowed at any event at the American Airlines Center. For certain situations such as medical needs, re-entry can be approved by the Guest Services Supervisor at the door.
Smoking Policy: Guests can smoke at JD Patio and ULTRA Club Patio. No smoking areas will be located on Platinum level. All guests must be re-screened prior to entry back into the building.
