It's a big vibe, big vibe

• The Stars face off against the Vancouver Canucks for the first time this season tonight. The teams will meet twice more this season, next in Dallas on March 26, 2022.
• The teams didn't meet in the 2020-21 season. The Stars won both matchups in 2019-20 (2-0-0).
• The Stars have an active 11-game point streak (9-0-2) against the Canucks at Rogers Arena, which stands as the team's longest active road point streak.
• Captain Jamie Benn has 17 points in 10 of his past 12 overall contests against Vancouver (10 goals, seven assists), recording at least one goal in nine of those 12 games.
• The native of Victoria, British Columbia had four points (two goals, two assists) in Dallas' two games against Vancouver in 2019-20, including the game-winning goal in its most recent meeting on Nov. 19, 2019. It was his fourth GWG against the Canucks, which is tied for his second highest against any opponent (First: Edmonton, 5).
• Forward Tyler Seguin recorded the game-winning goal in the Stars' most recent contest in Vancouver (one goal, one assist). With two points in each game against the Canucks in the 2019-20 season, Seguin was tied for the team lead in points against Vancouver. • Goaltender Anton Khudobin holds a record of 4-0-2 against Vancouver, posting a 1.95 goals against average and .931 save percentage.
• Netminder Braden Holtby, who spent last season with the Canucks, has a 5-2-1 record in eight appearances against his former club. He sports a 2.23 GAA and .922 SV% and one shutout in his career against Vancouver.

• Benn scored the overtime game-winning goal in Thursday night's game in Calgary and now has goals in back-to-back games (2) and points in three of his past four outings (two goals, one assist).
• With his 10th career overtime goal, Benn passed Mike Modano for the most overtime goals in franchise history.
• Thursday night's game also marked Benn's 876th game as a member of the Stars, passing Jere Lehtinen for the third-most in franchise history. He now trails only Mike Modano (1,459) and Neal Broten (992) on the club's all-time list.
• The longest tenured member of the Stars' active roster, Benn, 32, has recorded 727 points (313 goals, 414 assists) since beginning his career with the Stars in 2009. His point total puts him in third place in franchise history where he also trails only Modano (1,359) and Broten (867).
• 50 of his 313 goals stand as game-winning goals, second-most in franchise history (Modano, 92).
