That's what you get for waking up in Dallas

• The Stars meet the Golden Knights at home Wednesday night. In total, the Stars have played Vegas eight times since the Golden Knights joined the league in 2017.
• Defenseman John Klingberg (three assists) and forward Alexander Radulov (two goals, one assist) both recorded three points in the Stars' first match up against the Golden Knights in the 2019-20 season on Nov. 25, 2019.
• Six Stars skaters share a team-high five career points against the Golden Knights; forwards Tyler Seguin, Joe Pavelski and Radulov along with defensemen Esa Lindell, Ryan Suter, and Klingberg.
• Stars forward Radek Faksa scored all three of Dallas' goals for a natural hat trick at Vegas on Nov. 28, 2017, marking the first hat trick of his NHL career and the first ever recorded against the Golden Knights franchise.

Comeback kid

• Seguin lit the lamp on Monday against the Blue Jackets and now has goals in back-to-back games (two goals, one assist).
• On Friday against LA, the forward notched two points (one goal, one assist), including a power-play goal, and led the Stars with four shots on goal. The contest marked Seguin's first multi-point game since Feb. 16, 2020, when he posted two assists at Ottawa.
• After losing most of the 2020-21 season to a lower-body injury, Seguin returned for three of the final five regular season games. He recorded two goals in those match-ups, including the game-tying goal against Florida to send the game to overtime on May 3, 2021.
• Since coming to Dallas in 2013, Seguin has recorded at least 70 points in six of eight seasons, only falling short of the mark in shortened seasons (2019-20, 2020-21).

'A Miro-cle mile, where does it lead to?'

• Defenseman Miro Heiskanen tied his career high with three points (one goal, two assists) on Friday night against the Kings.
• Heiskanen's goal in the third period marked his 100th career point (30-70=100). At 22 years, 96 days old, Miro became the youngest defenseman in franchise history to reach the 100-point mark.
• He also did so in his 210th career regular-season game, which was the second fewest games to 100 points by a defenseman in Dallas Stars history and the fourth fewest in franchise history.
• In six games during the 2021-22 campaign, the defenseman ranks first on the club with six points (two goals, four assists).
