Stars host annual Pride Night celebration against Jets

• The ceremonial puck drop will feature local figure skating pair Timothy LeDuc and Ashley Cain-Gribble, who recently competed at the 2022 Winter Olympics. LeDuc, the first openly nonbinary U.S. Winter Games athlete, and Cain-Gribble have trained together at Children's Health StarCenter Euless for the last five years.
• Fort Worth-based artist Christopher Najera Estrada has partnered with the Dallas Stars Foundation to design a one-of-a-kind shirt that will be available for purchase on Pride Night. The son of immigrants and a queer man, Estrada's work references his relationships with religion, love, mental health, family, nostalgia, the fragility and sturdiness of nature, Mexican machismo and Chicanx culture. He will also be designing a custom T-shirt for the team's upcoming Noche Mexicana celebration on March 2.
• The team will wear special Pride-themed jerseys during warmups, along with having Pride Tape on their sticks. All jerseys will be auctioned off at

. Proceeds collected from the Pride Night t-shirt, warmup jersey auction and the Dallas Stars Foundation 50/50 Raffle presented Jim Ross Law Group will benefit the You Can Play Project.

I set my alarm for an early start

• The Stars and Winnipeg Jets meet for the third time this season on Wednesday at American Airlines Center. Please note the earlier start time of 6:30 p.m. CT. These teams will conclude their season series on March 4 in Winnipeg.
• The Stars last faced the Jets on Feb. 11, winning 4-3 in overtime. Captain Jamie Benn tallied a goal and an assist, forwards Jacob Peterson and Tyler Seguin each added a goal in regulation and forward Jason Robertson scored to end the game in overtime. Goaltender Jake Oettinger stopped 31 of 34 shots he faced.
• Dallas has won five consecutive home games against Winnipeg and has gone 15-for-15 on the penalty kill over that span.
• Benn has tallied points in three straight (three goals, one assist) and six of his last eight games (four goals, three assists) against the Jets. In 36 career games, he has posted 36 points (17 goals, 19 assists). Eight of his 16 goals have come on the power play, his second highest total against any individual opponent.
• Seguin has recorded five points in his last three games against the Jets (two goals, three assists) and has 12 multi-point games against them in his career - his second-highest total against any individual opponent. He leads the Stars with 48 points (26 goals, 22 assists) in 42 career games against the Jets. Each of his goal and point totals stand as his personal best against any opponent.
• Forward Denis Gurianov recorded two assists in his last game against the Jets and has points in back-to-back games against them (one goal, two assists). In six career games, he has tallied four points (one goal, three assists).
• Forward Alexander Radulov has tallied assists in back-to-back games vs. Winnipeg, contributing to a total of 16 points (four goals, 12 assists) in 17 career games against them.
• Robertson has lit the lamp in each of his two career games against Winnipeg.
• With an assist in each of his last two games, defenseman John Klingberg has recorded 25 points (five goals, 20 assists) in 26 games against the Jets. He set a career-high with four points (two goals, two assists) in a game against the Jets on Jan. 31, 2015, a record which he matched for the first time earlier this season (Jan. 20 at Buffalo).
• In 20 games against Winnipeg, goaltender Braden Holtby has posted a record of 11-5-4 with a 2.72 goals-against average, .916 save percentage and two shutouts.

• Oettinger's 46 saves were the sixth-most by a netminder in Dallas Stars history (1993-present) and the most by a Stars goaltender since Anton Khudobin posted 49 against the Florida Panthers on Feb. 22, 2021.
• He's now one of four goaltenders in franchise history to have recorded 20-plus wins over their first 50 career games, joining Marty Turco (26 wins, 50 GP), Roman Turek (26 wins, 50 GP) and Mike Smith (24 wins, 44 GP).
