After missing the first 11 games of the season due to injury, Stars forward prospect Roope Hintz returned to action this weekend for HIFK in Finland's top league.
Hintz played 17:04 and registered no points and two shots on goal in his first game on Friday, a 2-0 loss to Assat.
In his next game, a 2-1 shootout win over HPK, Hintz scored his first goal of the season, had five shots on goal and played 23:34, which was second highest among HIFK forwards.
Hintz, who centered the second line, took a pass in the neutral zone, split two HPK defenders and then scored on a wrist shot as he broke in alone on net to tie the game 1-1 in the second period.
"Most important thing was that there isn't another scoreless game," Hintz told jatkoaika.com.
