1. Kaapo keeps his WWWWWWWWWinning streak alive.
It's tough to crack the lineup for any Wild goaltender right now.
Cam Talbot had allowed one goal in the first two games against Arizona, and you couldn't have faulted coach Dean Evason had he decided to ride the hot hand again on Tuesday.

Instead, the coach decided to pivot to his rookie, who has been pretty good in his own right. And of course, Kaapo Kahkonen answered with yet another stellar performance between the pipes, making 31 saves to win his ninth consecutive start.
That stretch, dating back to Feb. 16, is the longest streak of consecutive wins by a goaltender in Wild history and is the longest in the NHL this season.

The shutout was his second in his past three starts, as Minnesota swept the three-game series against Arizona by allowing just one goal total in those three games.
During its perfect five-game homestead, Wild goalies allowed a grand total of four goals, shutting out the opponent three times in those five games. The Wild is also riding an eight-game home winning streak overall, which is tied for the longest in franchise history.
Minnesota is now nine points clear of Arizona in the West Division standings and also has two games in hand.
2. Mr. 4,000 finally gets his.
Mats Zuccarello was a man on a mission on Tuesday night, and that mission was to score a goal.
He had two of the most glorious opportunities you'll ever see in the first 40 minutes of the game, including one at the tail end of the first period that had Zuccarello in disbelief. All alone about five feet from the goal line, with a virtually empty cage to shoot at, Zuccarello missed the net.
As the horn sounded on the period a second or two later, the veteran winger just looked to the ice and shook his head.
Early in the second, he had yet another grade-A opportunity, getting an unbelievable between-the-legs pass from Kirill Kaprizov for what looked like a tap-in in front. Unfortunately for Mats, goaltender Adin Hill got a good read on the pass and was able to sprawl over to get some equipment on it.

Finally, in the third period, Zuccarello "settled" for just a run-of-the-mill snipe under the glove of Hill for his fifth goal and 19th point of the season.
The goal was the 4,000th in franchise history for the Wild.
Kaprizov earned an assist on the tally, running his points streak to four games. He's up to 25 points on the season, which is the sixth-most by a rookie in team history, and this season isn't quite halfway finished.
3. The Wild got things going early.
It looked like Jordan Greenway would be the one getting Minnesota on the board, after a brilliant set-up feed by Ryan Hartman left the Big Rig all alone in the slot. He tried to pick a corner on goaltender Adin Hill, but missed the net altogether.
No worries, though, as Hartman, the man who set him up, scooped up the loose puck and had space to shoot between Hill and the post, firing toward the net from a tough angle.

The goal was Hartman's fourth of the season and first since Feb.24, although he did miss some time with a lower-body injury during that stretch.
Greenway and Kevin Fiala earned the assists on the goal scored just 1:37 into the game. And like the first two games of this series, it was the only actual offense we'd see for some time.
