Wild.com's Dan Myers gives three takeaways from the Wild's 2-0 loss against the Winnipeg Jets in Game 4 of a First Round Stanley Cup Playoff series at Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul on Tuesday night:

1. Mark Scheifele broke a scoreless tie with his second goal of the playoffs late in the first period.
The Wild and Jets skated pretty evenly for much of the opening 20 minutes until a high cross check by Josh Morrissey on Eric Staal seemed to turn the momentum.
Minnesota, which was on the power play at the time, was not awarded a 5-on-3 advantage, and instead the Jets killed the power play, scoring less than two minutes later when Scheifele buried a centering feed from Kyle Connor.
Scheifele also got a late empty-net goal to seal the win.
2. Two days after sustaining his toughest postseason outing in his young playoff career, Jets goaltender Connor Hellebuyck secured his first playoff shutout.
Hellebuyck, named a finalist for the Vezina Trophy earlier in the day, allowed six goals in Game 3 and was pulled at the start of the final period.
No such actions were needed Tuesday, as the former UMass-Lowell River Hawk stopped all 30 shots he faced.
Wild goaltender Devan Dubnyk continued his stellar play in the playoffs, making 27 saves of his own. Unfortunately for him, however, Minnesota was unable to solve Hellebuyck and provide him with any offensive assistance.

3. The Wild now trails 3-1 in the series and will need to find a way to win in one of the toughest road environments in the League to extend the series.
Bell MTS Place provided Winnipeg with the best home-ice advantage during the regular season and the Jets won each of the first two games of this series there.
All is not lost for Minnesota, however. The Wild led by a goal in the third period of Game 1 and were trailing 1-0 in the third period of Game 2, so while the challenge will be great, it's certainly not insurmountable.
If the Wild can
find a way to win in Winnipeg
on Friday, the series would continue back in St. Paul for Game 6 on Sunday.
