SAINT PAUL, Minn. - The National Hockey League's (NHL) Minnesota Wild today announced it will host Hockey Fights Cancer™ Awareness Nightpresented by HealthPartners Cancer Care on Sunday, Nov. 13, when the team hosts the San Jose Sharks at 5 p.m.Cancer patients, survivors and cancer charities will be featured throughout the game, and many of the in-game elements will incorporate the Hockey Fights Cancer theme.

Fans attending the game on Nov. 13 are encouraged to wear lavender to show their support. The night will be dedicated to supporting the fight against cancer in numerous ways:
• A special
Hockey Fights Cancer ticket package
is available that includes a Minnesota Wild/Hockey Fights Cancer lavender Love Your Melon stocking cap.
• The Minnesota Wild Split the Pot Raffle partner for Hockey Fights Cancer night will be Children's Cancer Research Fund. Children's Cancer Research Fund is a national nonprofit dedicated to ending childhood cancer. Their main focus is to support the research of bright scientists across the country whose ideas can make the greatest impact for children fighting cancer. They also fund resources and programs that help kids and families as they navigate the difficult experience of cancer treatment and survivorship.

• Fans are invited to show us who or what they fight for by filling out a Hockey Fights Cancer "I Fight For" sign. Fans will be asked to raise their signs during a designated time during the second period. "I Fight For" signs will be available at various locations throughout the arena.

. Download the Hockey Fights Cancer sign, fill in who or what cancer cause you fight for, snap a picture of you with your card and share with us by tagging #MNWild and #hockeyfightscancer on any social media platform.
• Wild players will wear lavender Hockey Fights Cancer jerseys during on-ice warmups. The Hockey Fights Cancer jerseys worn by the team during on-ice warmups will be signed by their respective player and offered for bid via the Minnesota Wild Foundation's
Handbid Auction platform
along with themed locker room nameplates and other memorabilia. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Wild Foundation and
Pinky Swear Foundation
. Pinky Swear Foundation's mission is to help kids with cancer and their families with financial and emotional support.
• The Minnesota Wild Foundation will be hosting an HFC Mystery Puck sale. Mystery pucks will be on sale in-game only at section 104 from the time gates open and while supplies last. A $30 Mystery Puck purchase guarantees you a themed puck autographed by a member of the 2022-23 Minnesota Wild, the mystery is whose autograph you'll get! Proceeds will benefit the Minnesota Wild Foundation and Pinky Swear Foundation.
• Hockey Fights Cancer merchandise will be available for purchase beginning November 13 at The Hockey Lodge at Xcel Energy Center and at hockeylodge.com.Fans can also donate to A Breath of Hope at Hockey Lodge cash registers throughout November.
Eight-year-old, Farmington, MN native, Ben Dapper, who is enduring his second battle with cancer since 2018, will be the game's honorary flag bearer and five-time cancer survivor and former Minnesota Golden Gopher football player, Casey O'Brien will make the Let's Play Hockey! Announcement.
The Wild will also be participating in a Movember campaign to help raise awareness in men's health areas such as mental wellness and cancer prevention. The Minnesota Wild Foundation is proud to support the team's fundraising and have kicked off the campaign with a $5,000 donation to the team.
