This weekend, Eric Staal took his talents from snowy St. Paul to tropical Tampa, representing the Minnesota Wild in his fifth career NHL All-Star Game. The forward
participated in the Dunkin' Donuts NHL Passing Challenge
during the Skills Competition on Saturday night, as well as shooting on Metropolitan Division goaltenders in the GEICO NHL Save Streak event.
Sunday, as a member of the Central Division, he was
eliminated in the first round
of the All-Star Game after falling to the Pacific Division, 5-2. Despite the early exit, it was
far from a wasted weekend
for Staal and his wife, Tanya, her parents, and his three sons, Levi, Parker and Finley.
