The Iowa Wild, Minnesota Wild's American Hockey League affiliate, swept its weekend series vs. Colorado (2-0-0). The Wild ranks first in the AHL with a 38.5 power-play percentage (10-for-26), second in fewest times shorthanded (25) and third in fewest goals against (19).

The Wild earned a 6-5 overtime victory in its first game against the Eagles Friday at Wells Fargo Arena (10/26). F Justin Kloos tied his career high with three points (2-1=3), including his first career overtime game-winning goal. F Luke Kunin (2-0=2),F Kyle Rau (0-2=2) and F Mason Shaw (0-2=2) each tallied two points. G Andrew Hammond made a career-high 50 saves on a career-high 55 shots against. Iowa took the second game against Colorado with a 6-1 win Saturday in Des Moines (10/27). The win set a franchise record for longest home winning streak as well as the most ever wins in the month of October. F Jordan Greenway netted his first career hat trick, fourth in Wild history. Kunin tallied three assists and F Cal O'Reilly recorded three points (1-2=3) while D Louie Belpedio registered his first career goal. Hammond stopped 25-of-26 shots.
Kunin (3-4=7), O'Reilly (2-5=7) and Shaw (1-6=7) each led Iowa with seven points this season. Hammond is 5-1-0 with a 2.64 GAA and a .915 SV% in six games this season.
