The Iowa Wild, Minnesota Wild's American Hockey League affiliate, collected three of four points in two games last week (1-0-1). The Wild ranks second in the AHL in penalty kill percentage (87.5), T-2nd in points, T-3rd in wins, fourth in fewest goals against (55) and sixth in power-play percentage (22.6).

Iowa earned a point in its first game of the week with a 3-2 shootout loss against Colorado Friday (11/30). F Colton Beck and D Carson Soucy each scored for the Wild while G Kaapo Kahkonen stopped 24-of-26 shots through overtime. The Wild earned a 3-2 shootout win
in its second game of the week Saturday at Budweiser Events Center (12/1). F Luke Kunin
and F Dmitry Sokolov netted a goal apiece for Iowa while F Justin Kloos scored the shootout winner. Kahkonen made 24 saves through overtime and stopped all four shootout attempts.

F Cal O'Reilly leads the Wild with 23 points (5-18=23) in 22 games this season and ranks third in the AHL in assists and T-7th in scoring. F Mason Shaw ranks second with 16 points (3-13=16) and ranks T-2nd amongst AHL rookies in assists and T-10th in points. F Kyle Rau ranks third with 15 points (7-8=15). G Andrew Hammond is 7-3-1 with a 2.96 GAA and a .857 SV% in 11 games this season, ranking T-8th amongst AHL goalies in wins. Kahkonen is 6-1-3 with a 1.45 GAA, a .950 SV% and three shutouts in 10 games and leads qualified League goalies in GAA and SV% and ranks T-1st in shutouts. He was named the CCM/AHL Goaltender of the Month for November (12/3).
