In its most recent three-game stretch spanning from Feb. 24 to March 1, Iowa went 1-2 in games against Rockford and Milwaukee.

In the first game of a two-game set against Rockford, Iowa fell to the Ice Hogs 3-1. Nick Swaney scored the lone goal for the Wild, Marco Rossiand Steven Fogarty registered assists on the play. Jesper Wallstedt stopped 22-of-25 shots faced.
Iowa bounced back with a shutout win the next night, winning 2-0.Nic Petanregistered a goal while Adam Beckman scored his second short-handed goal of the season. Zane McIntyre recorded his second shutout of the season, stopping all 23 shots faced.
In its third and final game of the week, Iowa fell 1-0 to Milwaukee in a matinee game. Petan and Simon Johansson registered three shots each, Wallstedt stopped 22-of-23 shots faced.
Through 54 games, Iowa owns a record of 23-22-9 and sits in fifth place in the Central Division.
Wallstedt is 13-12-4 with a GAA of 2.72 and a SV% of .910, while McIntyre is 10-10-4 with a GAA of 3.12 and a SV% of .893.
Sammy Walker (22-20=42), Petan (15-22=37) and Joe Hicketts (4-32=36) lead Iowa in points. Walker leads all AHL rookies in points, ranks tied for first in PPG's, second in goals and fourth in plus/minus.
