Minnesota's 305 goals scored as a team shattered the old record of 263 set during the 2016-17 season. That amounts to an additional half goal per game from the previous record pace.
Within that, the Wild scored more goals in home games (168) and in road games (137) than they ever have, besting old marks of 137 and 126, respectively.
Among team goal-scoring records set this season also included, goals in each the first (93), second (100) and third periods (101), most 6-on-5 goals (19), a number which led the National Hockey League by a wide margin and was the most 6-on-5 goals scored by any team in at least the last 15 years.
Minnesota had more 20-plus goal scorers this season (six) than any other season, and for the first time, had three 30-goal scorers in Kirill Kaprizov, Kevin Fiala and Ryan Hartman.
The eight goals it scored in a win over Montreal on Jan. 24 tied the franchise mark and the Wild scored seven goals in a game on seven different occasions.
The Wild also had its most shots on goal in a season (2,666), shots in a game (49 at Nashville on April 5), best road power play for a season (23.1 percent, had its longest homestand (nine games, on which it went 7-0-2) and had its most hits in a game (48).
The sheer number of individual records to go down this season was staggering.
