SAINT PAUL, Minn. - Minnesota Wild General Manager Bill Guerin today announced the National Hockey League (NHL) club has acquired a second-round selection in the 2023 NHL Draft and a fifth-round selection in the 2024 NHL Draft from the Buffalo Sabres in exchange for left wing Jordan Greenway. Buffalo previously acquired the 2023 second-round selection from the Vegas Golden Knights.

Greenway, 26, has skated in 317 career games and owns 119 points (38-81=119) across five NHL seasons (2017-23), all with Minnesota. He has also collected seven points (3-4=7) in 22 career Stanley Cup Playoff matches. The 6-foot-6, 231-pound native of Canton, N.Y., was selected by Minnesota in the second round (50th overall) of the 2015 NHL Draft.
