ST. PAUL --The Minnesota Wild and Xcel Energy jointly announced today that the national leader in clean energy transition will be the team's first-ever helmet entitlement partner. As part of the partnership, the Xcel Energy logo will exclusively appear on the team's home and road helmets for the entire 2020-21 National Hockey League (NHL) season.

"Xcel Energy has been an incredible team partner since our inaugural season and we are proud to announce their logo will be the first-ever to appear on our helmets," said Minnesota Wild President Matt Majka. "This partnership provides Xcel Energy with an extremely unique opportunity to showcase their brand throughout this season. We are grateful for their support. Xcel Energy has been the naming rights partner for the Wild's home arena, Xcel Energy Center, since June 15, 2000.
