Pulkkinen, 24 (1/2/92), was recalled by Minnesota yesterday and did not appear in last night's 3-2 win at Toronto. He has recorded one goal in eight games with Minnesota and 15 points (8-7=15) in 16 games with Iowa. The Wild claimed Pulkkinen off of waivers from the Detroit Red Wings on Oct. 11. He leads Iowa in goals, power-play goals (4), shots on goal (54) and ranks second in scoring. Pulkkinen was named the CCM/AHL Player of the Week on Nov. 28 after tallying a goal in four consecutive road games (5-2=7), including two game-winning goals. The Vantaa, Finland, native owns 21 points (12-9=21) in 78 career NHL contests with Detroit and Minnesota.
