SAINT PAUL, Minn. - Minnesota Wild General Manager Bill Guerin today announced the National Hockey League (NHL) club has recalled goaltender Hunter Jones from the Iowa Wild in the American Hockey League (AHL). Jones will serve as the team's third goalie.

Jones, 22, played in one AHL game this season, stopping 26 of 28 shots faced in a 2-1 overtime loss at Milwaukee (11/19), for a 1.95 goals-against average (GAA) and a .929 save percentage (SV%). He went 11-17-9 with a 3.07 GAA, a .905 SV% and one SO in 38 games with the Iowa Heartlanders in the ECHL. Minnesota selected Jones in the second round (59th overall) of the 2019 NHL Draft. He will wear sweater No. 95 with Minnesota.
Minnesota plays at the Dallas Stars tonight in Game 1 of its 2023 First Round series at 8:30 pm on Bally Sports North, ESPN2 and KFAN 100.3 FM.
