SAINT PAUL, Minn.- Minnesota Wild General Manager Chuck Fletcher today announced the National Hockey League (NHL) club has reduced its training camp roster to 33 players.
The team assigned forwards Kurtis Gabriel, Zack Mitchell and defenseman Gustav Olofsson to the Iowa Wild of the American Hockey League (AHL). Minnesota also placed forwards Pat Cannone and Jordan Schroeder on waivers today. They will be assigned to Iowa on Tuesday if they clear waivers. Minnesota also announced defenseman Victor Bartley will be out indefinitely with a torn triceps muscle that will require surgery.
