The Minnesota Wild is dedicated to helping teachers, students, and parents continue to focus on education during these uncertain times. During the month of May, the Wild will unroll various educational initiatives focused on assisting with distance learning for students of all ages. These projects will allow students at home to stay engaged and excited about learning.

Wild About Reading

The Minnesota Wild is proud to present the Wild About Reading program, presented by Flint Hills Resources. The goal of Wild About Reading is to increase student literacy by encouraging kids to read. Wild About Reading is a great way for students to stay engaged with reading at home or at school while participating in a reading program with a Minnesota Wild theme.

Vital Signs Lab with Wes Walz

The Minnesota Wild, in partnership with EVERFI, hosted the second annual Minnesota Wild Vital Signs Lab with Wes Walz on Thursday, November 17, 2022. Walz, a former Wild captain and current Bally Sports North analyst, led a group of 300+ students throughout Minnesota in a series of exercises for the purpose of studying how exercise affects your heart rate.

The Minnesota Wild, in partnership with EVERFI and the NHL's Future Goals Program, honor the following Minnesota teachers as our Teachers of the Month during the 2022-23 academic year:

STEM Day

The Minnesota Wild is proud to partner with Pentair and EVERFI to help bring "STEM Day" to life!

Wild employees participated in STEM Day as part of the Future Goals program. Children from Horace Mann School were taught  STEM topics in classrooms, followed by a field trip to Blaine's Super Rink.
