Tyson Barrie Pittsburgh Penguins 2017 December 18

PITTSBURGH--After missing the last four games with a lower-body injury, defenseman Tyson Barrie will return to game action tonight when the Colorado Avalanche takes on the Pittsburgh Penguins.
The 27-year-old leads Avalanche blueliners with 20 points (three goals, 17 assists) through 23 games this campaign.
"It's exciting, obviously nobody likes to miss time and four games felt like a lot longer than that, so it's nice to get healthy and get back in the lineup," Barrie said after morning skate. "A good one tonight against Pittsburgh, it will be fun."

Semyon Varlamov will make his third consecutive start in net. He is 6-0-1 in his last seven games, which included a five-game winning streak from Nov. 11-27.
Forward Vladislav Kamenev will be back in the lineup after being a healthy scratch for Sunday's game in Detroit. He has five points (two goals, three assists) in 20 games this campaign.
Below is the Avalanche's projected lineup. The forward combinations and defensive pairings are subject to change.
