Nail Yakupov Minnesota Wild 2018 January 8

Colorado Avalanche forward Nail Yakupov will be back in the lineup for tonight's game versus the Philadelphia Flyers at Pepsi Center.
Yakupov has 16 points (nine goals, seven assists) in 55 contests this season and will be on a trio with rookie center Dominic Toninato and left wing Gabriel Bourque.
"I want to give Yak the opportunity. I think we need some depth with scoring," said head coach Jared Bednar after the team's morning skate. "He's a guy that can shoot. He's a guy that can score goals, so hopefully he comes in and has a big night for us and gets on the board."

Goaltender Semyon Varlamov is sick and it will not be known if he is able to play until closer to game time. Fellow goalie Jonathan Bernier was on the ice for the Avs' morning skate but is still out with an infection from a cut on his hand.
"[Bernier's] getting better, he took some shots," Bednar said. "He's not allowed to take shots with a stick yet, his finger."
The Avalanche recalled Andrew Hammond from the San Antonio Rampage of the American Hockey League in case Varlamov is not able to play against Philadelphia. Either Hammond, Varlamov or rookie Spencer Martin will be in net for Colorado.
Below is the Avalanche's projected lineup. All line combinations and defensive pairings are subject to change.
