LAST TIME OUT

Colorado is coming off their fourth-consecutive win after defeating Vancouver 4-1 on Friday night. Andrew Cogliano kicked off the Avs scoring with his seventh of the season at 11:32 of the first period. Valeri Nichushkin and Mikko Rantanen each found the back of the net on the man-advantage in the second period. Brad Hunt registered his third goal in an Avalanche sweater to help the Avs notch their fourth-consecutive game with four-plus goals.
Seattle snapped the New Jersey Devils' five-game winning streak as they won in overtime, 4-3, on Thursday night. Ryan Donato had two goals and an assist, while Martin Jones stopped 27 of the 30 shots he faced against one of the league's best offenses. Brandon Tanev also found the back of the net, and Former Av and member of the 2022 Stanley Cup Champion team Andre Burakovsky scored the game-winner. The Kraken are 8-2-0 in their last 10 games.

Colorado holds a 2-2 overall record against the second-year franchise.
Saturday's game is the second of a three-game regular season series versus the Kraken, with the final outing on March 5 in Denver.
In the first matchup, the Avs fell to the Kraken, 3-2, on Oct. 21. Bowen Byram and Evan Rodrigues both found the back of the net for Colorado, while Valeri Nichushkin notched two assists.
