The pieces are almost all in place for Phase 3.

Wrapping up a week of new players joining voluntary skates each day, Duncan Keith is the latest regular to take the ice at Fifth Third Arena on Friday.

RETURN TO PLAY

For the 15th straight season -- yes, 15 -- the anchor of the Blackhawks blue line led the team in average time on ice during the regular season, clocking in at 24:23 per game. Keith saw a 189 consecutive game streak snapped on Nov. 30 when a groin injury sidelined him for for nine games.

He notched his 100th career goal on Nov. 5 in San Jose and eclipsed the 600-point mark on Feb. 21. The defenseman also took over second place all-time in games played by a Blackhawk, now trailing only Stan Mikita in the category.

And just because he hasn't not being on the ice up until this point, don't think that Keith hasn't been preparing for hockey to resume.

The fun really begins on Monday as the NHL is set to enter Phase 3 of the Return to Play plan with training camps for the 24 returning teams opening across North America.
