The Blackhawks have made their second trade of the opening day of the NHL Draft, sending forward Kirby Dach to the Montreal Canadiens for picks No. 13 and No. 66 in this year's draft.
Chicago had previously acquired picks No. 7 and No. 39 in this year's draft, plus a third-round pick in 2024, from the Ottawa Senators in exchange for forward Alex DeBrincat.
As it stands, Chicago holds nine picks in the opening three rounds of the 2022 NHL Draft:
