The Blackhawks wrap their season series against the Ottawa Sentators on Saturday night in Canada's capital. Chicago earned its first victory of the season on Nov. 1 against the Senators at the United Center, 5-1.

The Blackhawks defeated the Senators 5-1 at the United Center on Nov. 1 for their first victory of the season. Patrick Kane recorded a hat trick and added an assist in the victory. Jonathan Toews picked up three helpers and went 12 of 15 (80 percent) at the faceoff dot. Brandon Hagel scored two goals and Dominik Kubalik registered two assists. Marc-Andre Fleury stopped 29 of 30 shots to pick up the victory.
The Blackhawks have defeated the Senators in seven straight matchups and are 19-5-1 against Ottawa dating back to the 2000-01 campaign. Alex DeBrincat recorded one of his four career hat tricks and a career-best five points vs. OTT on Feb. 18, 2019. Toews has a multi-point effort in four consecutive games vs. the Senators.

KANE SCORE

Patrick Kane collected an assist on Thursday to match Bobby Hull for second on the Blackhawks all-time points list. He posted a career-high six points (1G, 5A) on Tuesday night against the Ducks. He became the first Blackhawks skater to record six points in a game since Bernie Nicholls on Feb. 5, 1995.

CAT STRIKES

Alex DeBrincat improved his goal streak to a Blackhawks' season-best five games with his 34th marker of the season on Thursday. His 34 goals are sixth in the NHL and his 12 power-play tallies share fifth. He is third in the league with 66 goals since the beginning of last season. DeBrincat is averaging .58 goals per game this year, just off his career best .62 goals per game which he averaged during the 2020-21 season.

DYNAMIC DUO

Alex DeBrincat and Patrick Kane combined on a goal for the 33rd time this season on Thursday. Only three duos have factored on more together in 2021-22: Gaudreau and Tkachuk (42 w/ CGY), Draisaitl and McDavid (40 w/ EDM) and Zuccarello and Kaprizov (40 w/ MIN).
