DeBrincat's torrid run continued last week as the 2016 second-round pick compiled 11 points in three games, including a five-point outing and a four-point outing on consecutive nights. The 19-year-old has extended his point streak to nine games, compiling 23 points (10G, 13A) over that span. DeBrincat's 44 goals are just seven away from matching his career high of 51, reached in each of the last two seasons, and his 92 points are 10 more than the second-highest scorer in the Ontario Hockey League. His 202 shots on goal rank fifth in the league, and he has gone without a shot on goal in just one of his 45 games this season.

2nd Star: C Dylan Sikura, Northeastern University (H-EAST)

Sikura took over his team's scoring lead after a five-point weekend that extended his point streak to six games; he posted the game-winning goal and two assists in a 6-5 victory at UMass on Friday and added two helpers the next night in a 6-4 loss. The junior has points in 15 of his last 16 games, compiling 33 points (13G, 20A) on a run dating back to Nov. 18. The 2014 sixth-round pick shares third in the nation with a career-best 46 points, while his 29 assists share second.
3rd Star: D Jake Ryczek, Waterloo Black Hawks (USHL)
The Line: 2GP, 1G, 4A
Ryczek, a 2016 seventh-round pick, set a career best with a goal and three assists for Waterloo in a 7-4 win over Tri-City on Friday, before adding a helper the next night in a 5-1 win over the same opponent. The 18-year-old, a Providence College commit, was named the USHL's Defenseman of the Week in consecutive weeks and now has 10 points (1G, 9A) over his last five contests. Ryzcek is tied for the league lead for goals among blueliners (6) and shares fourth with 23 points in 33 games this season.
