Headlined by Drew Commesso's shutout to end the regular season, the Blackhawks' prospects are gearing up for their respective conference and divisional playoffs.
Commesso had a 39-save shutout over Providence on Saturday for Boston University, his second of the season. The Terriers now have the top seed in the Hockey East tournament, clinching a spot in the quarterfinals on their home ice on Saturday.

Over in the NCHC, Minnesota-Duluth prospects Wyatt Kaiser and Dominic James collected points over their final regular season series against St. Cloud State. Both James and Kaiser tallied three assists each in two games, while Kaiser now has 12 points over the last 10 games, including this one on the power play.

OHL AND WHL

Over in the OHL, Gavin Hayes tallied his 50th goal in the league. He currently has 31 goals and 35 assist for a total of 66 points this season with the Flint Firebirds.
Ethan del Mastro also compiled six assists over two games for the Sarnia Sting, who are also in the playoff position.
In the WHL, the Seattle Thunderbirds notched two strong wins over the weekend as they clinched their divison. Kevin Korchinski had an assist in each game, and Colton Dach has collected six points over the five games he's played as a Thunderbird.

ROCKFORD

Arvid Soderblom picked up the win for Rockford on Saturday in an 11-round shootout thriller over the Laval Rocket. He tallied a season-high 44 saves, garnering AHL's first star of the night honors.

As well, Pavel Gogolev tallied his first goal as an IceHog to give Rockford an early 1-0 lead.

Rockford currently sits at 27-21-4-4, good for fourth in the Central Division.
