The Chicago Blackhawks today announced the team has agreed to terms with forward Cole Guttman on a two-year entry-level contract that runs through the 2023-24 season ($950,000 salary cap hit).
Guttman, 23, set career highs in goals (19), assists (26) and points (45) during the 2021-22 campaign in his senior year with the University of Denver (National Collegiate Hockey Conference), sharing second on the team in assists and ranking third in goals and points. Serving as captain last season, Guttman led the Denver Pioneers to their ninth national championship, tying the NCAA record.
