The Chicago Blackhawks announced today that they have agreed to terms with forward MacKenzie Entwistle on a two-year contract extension that runs through the 2023-24 season ($800,000 salary cap hit).
Entwistle, 22, made his National Hockey League debut last season with the Blackhawks, recording two points (1G, 1A) in five games. His first career NHL goal came on May 9 vs. Dallas. The Georgetown, Ontario native also posted 12 points (4G, 8A) in 22 games with the Rockford IceHogs of the American Hockey League during the 2020-21 season.
