The Chicago Blackhawks today announced that the team has agreed to terms with forward Samuel Savoie (sav-WAH) on a three-year, entry-level contract that runs through the 2025-26 season ($878,333.33 salary cap hit).

Savoie, 19, appeared in 60 regular-season games with the Gatineau Olympiques of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League during the 2022-23 campaign, posting career highs in goals (26), assists (33) and points (59), and tying his career best in game-winning goals (4). His 26 goals ranked fourth and his 59 points ranked fifth on Gatineau, while his 33 assists were sixth best among all Olympiques' skaters. Additionally, Savoie tallied eight points (2G, 6A) in 13 postseason games this past season, helping the Olympiques to the QMJHL semi-finals.

The 5-foot-10, 190-pound forward has totaled 101 points (46G, 55A) in 151 career regular-season games with Gatineau from 2020-23. In addition, Savoie has suited up in 24 career postseason games with the Olympiques, compiling 11 points (4G, 7A).

The native of Dieppe, New Brunswick was originally drafted by Chicago in the third round (81st overall) of the 2022 NHL Draft.
