A veteran of 14 National Hockey League seasons, Hull appeared in 959 career regular-season games, scoring 654 points (303G, 351A). He also appeared in 104 playoff games, recording 67 points (33G, 34A). He played 13 of those seasons with the Blackhawks (1964-77), compiling 640 points (298G, 342A) in 904 games, the eighth most games played in a Blackhawks uniform. His 298 goals with the team are the seventh most in franchise history. The four-time 30+ goal scorer posted his best season in 1972-73 with 90 points (39G, 51A). He appeared in five All-Star games (1969, 1971-74) and was named an NHL Second Team All-Star in 1973.
In its third season, the "One More Shift" campaign allows fans to recognize former players one more time as they skate on the ice. Previous honorees include former forward and current Television Color Analyst Eddie Olczyk earlier this season as well as former forwards Bryan Bickell, Al Secord, Eric Daze, Troy Murray and the late Stan Mikita during 2016-17 and Blackhawks Ambassador Denis Savard, former forwards Steve Larmer and Jeremy Roenick, and former goaltender Ed Belfour during 2015-16.
