When the St. Louis Blues celebrated their first Stanley Cup Championship in franchise history with a parade down Market Street in 2019, one moment stood out.
Blues Hall of Famer Brett Hull took the stage in front of a raucous crowd of fans and encapsulated the team's miraculous run to the Cup:
"You can say 'Let's Go Blues' all you want, but you know what? We went! We Went Blues!"
"We Went Blues" has since become a rallying cry, a celebration, and an annual reminder of the championship-clinching Game 7 in Boston on June 12, 2019. Every year, the Blues celebrate "We Went Blues Day" with videos, stories, photos and memories from the historic Stanley Cup win.
