June 15, 2011 | Scores Twice in Game 7 of Cup Final

Bergeron helped close out a 39-year championship drought with two goals in the deciding seventh game against the Vancouver Canucks. "My favorite memory of Bergy would have to be, speaking from my own personal memory bank, was the year we won," said Marchand. "When we scored the fourth goal to kind of solidify that -it's the first moment that we allowed ourselves to think that we had won, or we were going to win. There's only a couple minutes left in the game and we were celebrating. He grabbed me in the corner, him and Rex [Mark Recchi] and I remember turning around and looking at him and he's just like, 'we won,' basically. It's the first moment I think that we all again allowed ourselves to realize that we were about to win the Stanley Cup in the NHL. It's pretty cool."
