Military Appreciation _ Media Wall

BOSTON - The Boston Bruins will honor local military members, veterans, and their families at Military Appreciation Night on Thursday, April 15 during the Bruins vs. New York Islanders game at TD Garden at 7:00 p.m.

The entire Bruins team will wear camouflaged Spoked-B jerseys for warm-ups and will use American flag and Canadian flag stick tape during the game to show their support for Military Appreciation Night. The players name plates in the locker room will honor military members, and coaches and staff will also wear American Flag pins. In addition, "I Salute" cards honoring military members will line the Bruins locker room hallway.
Performing the national anthem will be Sergeant Stacy Leeds. The Plymouth, MA native is a member of the 215th Army Band.
Prior to puck drop, members of the six branches of the military will participate in a Ceremonial Puck Delivery, with a puck passed virtually from branch to branch and ending with Referee Frederick L'Ecuyer catching the game puck. The representatives of the six branches are Master Sergeant Michelle McKeen (Air Force, Plymouth, MA), Commander Chris Muller (Navy, Boston, MA), Sergeant 1st Class Jamie Chambers (Army, Charlestown, MA), 2nd Lieutenant Gregory Pederkin (Marines, Manfield, MA), Petty Officer 1st Class Keith Espinola (Coast Guard, Needham, MA) and 2nd Lieutenant Colleen O'Hara (Space Force, Hooksett, NH).
The 8-Spoked Salute recipient will be Colonel Mark Tromblee. The Wesport, New York native is an active-duty Colonel in the United States Army. Colonel Tromblee has served for over 25 years, including deployments to Afghanistan, Kuwait and Iraq.
Limited edition Boston Bruins Military Appreciation Night official jerseys will be worn by the players during warm-ups ahead of the game against the Islanders and are available for fans to purchase at the ProShop powered by '47 located at the Hub on Causeway at TD Garden. The ProShop will also have Military tees, caps and knits available for purchase.
