BOSTON –Boston Bruins General Manager Don Sweeney announced today, March 8, that the team has acquired defenseman Andrew Peeke from the Columbus Blue Jackets in exchange for defenseman Jakub Zboril and a 2027 third-round draft pick.
Peeke, 25, has appeared in 23 games with Columbus this season, recording one goal and seven assists for eight points. The 6-foot-3, 214-pound blueliner has skated in 218 career NHL games, all with the Blue Jackets, totaling 10 goals and 32 assists for 42 points. The Parkland, Florida native was originally selected by Columbus in the second round (34th overall) of the 2016 NHL Draft.
