Roster Update _ Media Wall

BOSTON -Boston Bruins General Manager Don Sweeney announced today, October 27, that the team has added forward Brad Marchand to the active roster.
Sweeney also announced that the team has assigned defenseman Mike Reilly to Providence.

Marchand, 34, recorded 32 goals and 48 assists for 80 points in 70 appearances with Boston in 2021-22. The 5-foot-9, 181-pound forward has skated in 874 career NHL games with the Bruins, totaling 351 goals and 444 assists for 795 points. The Halifax, Nova Scotia native was originally selected by Boston in the third round (71st overall) of the 2006 NHL Entry Draft.
Reilly, 29, has skated in seven games with Boston this season, recording one assist. The 6-foot-1, 196-pound defenseman has appeared in 336 career NHL games, totaling 12 goals and 86 assists for 98 points. The Chicago, Illinois native was originally selected by Columbus in the fourth round (98th overall) of the 2011 NHL Entry Draft.
