Bruins Announce Opening Day Festivities

BOSTON - The Boston Bruins announced today, October 4, that they will host an Opening Day Fan Fest presented by TD Bank which will take place on Canal Street from 10:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. on Monday, October 8. The event is in support of the Downtown North Association and the City of Boston's effort to make Canal Street a multi-purpose venue to attract people to the area, an idea that grew from the North Station Action Mobility Plan.

Admission is free and fans do not need a ticket to the game to participate in any of the festivities. Fans of all ages can participate in activities and games and have the opportunity to win prizes.
NESN will broadcast their Bruins pregame show live from Canal Street and fans will be able to watch the NESN broadcast of the Boston Bruins vs. Ottawa Senators game which will air on the main stage screen.
98.5 The Sports Hub will also be broadcasting live, for the Bruins pregame show, with Judd Sirott and Bob Beers.
